Maryland Blue Crabs.
The table we had reserved for lunch had been prepared before our arrival at the Crab & Steak House restaurant. The table was now fully covered by a large sheet of brown paper, and a large bucket, a large roll of paper, mallets, forks and knives were laid out on the table. There was no mistaking as to what our lunch order was. Six extra-large Maryland Blue Crabs, fries and cole slaw, that was lunch at the Crab and Steak House in St. Michaels, on the shore of Chesapeake Bay.
Well, not quite the whole lunch. We first indulged with a dozen fresh large Chesapeake Bay raw oysters …
and later finished off the meal with an ice cream cone while exploring the shops on Talbot Street, the Main Street of St. Michaels.
